Letter from our Head Coach
Limavady Amateur Swimming Club seeks to help each young person realize his or her full potential, both as a competitive swimmer and as a leader in the community. To develop integrity and responsibility, coaches strive to foster self-awareness in all stages of the training process and encourage athletes to take ownership of their preparation and performance. With the right inspiration, our kids can make their dreams come true.
The goal of LASC is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to national competitor. Families work together to help achieve a positive atmosphere and welcoming team environment. LASC view swimming as an important part of the overall development of our athletes. Besides the most obvious benefit of physical conditioning, swimming fosters discipline, commitment, and passion, as well as social opportunities, the values gained from competition, and the character that comes from learning to accept winning and losing with grace.
The club committee and coaches are here to help both parents and swimmers. If you have any questions just ask. The club would be nothing without our members!
